It&#8217;s the place where everything happens, so it has to be eye-catching and recognizable. But not only that, the usual rhythm of television productions demands solutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Customized<\/li><li>Unproblematic<\/li><li>Clean<\/li><li>Easy to assemble and disassemble<\/li><li>Sustainable<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cardboard is the material that meets all these requirements. Let&#8217;s take a look at some examples of sets for television programmes using our favourite material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Diseno-eventos-online-encircular-1-1024x434.jpg\" alt=\"interior design tv show cardboard\" class=\"wp-image-18359\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TV Set interior design forstreaming<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been living <strong>with streaming<\/strong> for a long time<strong>,<\/strong> but in the last few months this type of transmission has experienced a great boom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reason? Another type of coexistence, in this case forced, with the coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/decorado-evento-online-carton-1024x571.jpg\" alt=\"cardboard design for tv shows\" class=\"wp-image-18360\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The needs of the events have changed and<\/strong> from the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community (ACDV) were very aware of this. Their &#8216;Circular Economy&#8217; conference required a special format and<strong>cardboard<\/strong> facilitated<strong>the success of their<\/strong> proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/fotodecoradostv.jpg\" alt=\"Dise\u00f1o de decorados con anillos  de colores\" class=\"wp-image-18484\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With 25 sheets of FSC certified cardboard, 30 hours of design and 4 hours of assembly between 2 people, a set was created for 4 days of dissemination around sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/set-grabacion-streaming-evento-1024x478.jpg\" alt=\"Cardboard design for tv program show \" class=\"wp-image-18366\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The set included an enveloping structure of 48 rings, each one with a tonality, based on the eight colors of the image of the event. And a very resistant circular bench, just as colourful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A great success!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Faceted elements with video mapping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you heard of video mapping? I&#8217;m sure you have. It&#8217;s about projecting<strong>video and light effects<\/strong> on real surfaces, achieving an artistic effect<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/diseno-decorado-television-portada2-1024x307.jpg\" alt=\"cardboard design structure for tv program\" class=\"wp-image-14886\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The set of &#8216;Cuando ya no est\u00e9&#8217; for Movistar + is a good example. A functional support, but with a futuristic aesthetic, on which to project colour changes, infographics and video to support the broadcast. The<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/diseno-decorado-television-mapping.jpg\" alt=\"Video Mapping sobre dise\u00f1o de decorado para televisi\u00f3n\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\">polygonal shapes of the set are ideal for video mapping<\/img>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the first time that video mapping has been introduced on television sets in Spain, so we opted for the most spectacular support possible, playing with volumes. The central table of the studio and the audience&#8217;s stools fitted in with the set and completed the general aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/cuando-ya-no-este-Gabilondo-portada-1024x307.jpg\" alt=\"Decorado para TV a contraluz\" class=\"wp-image-14795\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-279763ec-cbff-423c-bf53-92baae148246\">Giant screens and corporeal letters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-a8c890f0-8fc9-4959-aa33-1893e4d6d35d\"><strong>Tu cara no me suena todav\u00eda<\/strong>&#8216; is a program produced by Gestmusic and broadcasted on Antena 3 TV. We were commissioned with the structural design and production of the casting recording set, in Madrid and Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-2cb5851a-18e1-4a3b-bd30-b983baf8540b\">The main element of the setting was the <strong>backdrop of the stage,<\/strong> a <strong>lattice screen<\/strong>. It was built thanks to a simple system of <strong>cardboard panels fitted<\/strong> together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-ba4603d4-add3-49a1-9598-5a66d2bc35d1\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/decorado-television-carton-modular-tcnms.jpg\" alt=\"modular cardboard design for tv show \"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-a10cd469-89f2-4d08-be15-e118649e6161\">The pieces were printed in full colour, so that once assembled, the programme&#8217;s logo could be read from certain points of view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-2c929171-5a26-4e88-b276-bf3746b32472\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/decorado-escenario-television-carton-tcnms.jpg\" alt=\"interior design for tv show. Modular background produced with cardboard.\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-11f55d11-3f5f-4b57-96c9-fe2d1eb9b558\">We designed everything in cardboard, which allows a quick construction without noise, odor or waste. In addition, the elements are lightweight, reusable, easily disassembled and stored flat for later use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-06452eed-8921-478f-be93-d12db2966674\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/biombo-modular-carton-estructura-decorado-eventos-1024x485.jpg\" alt=\"backwall for tv show in cardboard\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-2db7dafe-1f90-4adb-baee-738255b569f2\">The letters with the initials of the program were made with several layers of honeycomb cardboard overlapped. They were very good in camera and did not require extra support once they reached the thickness estimated in the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-75ccf9d4-075a-4506-ad71-2b200016b473\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/decoracion-escenario-plato-television-casting-tcnm-carton-1024x562.jpg\" alt=\"cardboard background for tv set design\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-0a218d93-9fa7-43a3-be71-3a293756d6a5\">Custom backs and counter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0240e2eb-90b3-40ba-98fe-6867ad0fe42a\">The program <strong>CASH <\/strong>was broadcasted on <strong>Televisi\u00f3n Murciana<\/strong> with the intention of promoting a responsible culture of consumption. For them we made a <strong>modular and customized <\/strong>set. It consisted of a<strong> large back panel, counter and chairs for the presenter and guests<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ae12fd70-3a94-4017-aff1-9771f2c2641a\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"842\" src=\"http:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/plato-escenografia-programa-television-disenio-cartonlab-01.jpg\" alt=\"decorado-para-programa-television-diseno-escenografia\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-7deb02dc-fe1c-4640-bef4-9d9111af7819\">Custom modular backdrop<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-81e448a0-932d-426a-affc-e38a21c9bb20\">We designed a backdrop composed of four<strong> modular panels printed with<\/strong> the Cash logo to reinforce the image of the program. The panels can be grouped together to create different combinations and scenographies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-7d0cfea8-19da-4483-8db5-ca2c8635c101\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG-20161013-WA0005.jpg\" alt=\"Mostrador para programa de televisi\u00f3n CASH\"\/><figcaption>The modular cardboard designs are perfect for television.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-293db575-8da8-48c8-b208-8a559ff07ff4\">Table-counter and chairs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0d633400-2b1b-49ce-a850-093e5f102960\">The set had to accommodate a presenter and two guests. For this we designed <strong>a table almost 4 meters<\/strong> long. It was made up of three independent modules to <strong>facilitate assembly and installation<\/strong>. And finished in white with a small gradient on the edges and the logo of the program in the center. Three <a href=\"https:\/\/test.dagic.es\/producto\/silla-faceta\/\"><strong>Faceta chairs<\/strong><\/a> completed the furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-a25901cb-f856-486d-adea-7a8cb32c5d48\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/test.dagic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/diseno-escenografia-programa-television-murciana-cartonlab-01.jpg\" alt=\"Render de decorados para televisi\u00f3n en cart\u00f3n\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-b3380c89-e6b3-4e1c-8b91-f62be1553c0a\">Furniture from our online shop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-ce93bb14-6b0c-48d9-8ba6-4671935b2f7b\">You may want to discard the custom design.
