LatinARQ is a design firm of architects dedicated to sustainable construction. It was created in Santiago de Chile, aiming at research, development, and implementation of innovative and friendly products to the environment. “LITE de LatinARQ” is the name of their business line for ephemeral architecture, which focuses on events, trade shows, and product development. “We find CARDBOARD a very simple and humble material, in which many amazing qualities come together. It allows designers to have an endless amount of opportunities to work with creativity in the field of ephemeral architecture. Nowadays, thanks to years of experiences behind, we have even ventured to design furniture, refurbishment projects, and dwelling designs. For us, resistance, lightness and readiness are just a few of the main advantages of working with cardboard.”

This Alliance shows how the designing and producing with cardboard is here to stay, as an alternative with plenty of advantages compared to what traditionally has been used by the advertising industry (foam, PVC, MDF, among others). Companies such as Cartonlab and LatinARQ have proved through their projects and creations that designing sustainable is not at odds with high-quality standards.
